His skills and experience also extend to musical theatre where he’s performed in productions such as The Producers, Le Cage Aux Folles, Cabaret, Guys and Dolls, Into The Woods, I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change, Jersey Boys, Madagascar The Musical, Avenue Q, A Little Night Music, Little Shop Of Horrors and most recently the New Zealand Premiere of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom.
Jonathan saw the original production of The Play That Goes Wrong at the Old Red Lion Theatre Pub in east London and remembers it being the funniest couple of hours he’d had in a theatre in a long time, so it’s fair to say it’s pretty awesome he is now performing in it himself ten years on. He hopes that everything goes right… by which he means wrong!
He is a proud Member of Actors Equity New Zealand and MEAA.
